I’ve been reading on the bike at the gym for the past six years. I never thought I could read on any other machine at the gym, than on a stationary bike. The other day, thanks to some inspiring advice (thanks Jenn), I tried reading on an elliptical machine and it worked.
For the last six years I never thought I could get a workout in and read on anything else other than a bike.
Inspiration comes in all shapes and sizes. It’s more of a whisper than a howling wind. I think we all need to take other people’s opinions more seriously. Especially when someone else is smarter than you on a topic. That’s lesson one: Trust other people.
Lesson two: The things we are most certain about are the same things that we stand to gain the most by changing.
